Una delle prime hit dei Faith no more,uno dei pochi gruppi preferitissimi(assieme ai Therapy? hanno un posto di rilievo nella mia personale classifica di fine anni'80 e anni'90),che fa parte del disco"The real thing"del 1989.
Facevano parte della band il leader carismatico Mike Patton,il mostro di bravura Jim Martin alla chitarra,Billy Gould al basso,Roddy Bottum alle tastiere e Mike Bordin alla batteria...ora c'è in ballo una reunion e credo suoneranno tra non molto a Milano ma non ci sarà Jim Martin ma John Hudson alla chitarra(che aveva suonato in"Album of the year").
Che dire,grande questa band di San Francisco con il cantante Mike Patton istrionico nei suoi concerti,aiutato anche dal fatto di parlare italiano in quanto sposato assieme ad una bolognese(almeno nel 1997 quando li avevo visti live!).
Epic,il cui video a costo ridottissimo,ebbe ai tempi un grande successo;canzone tra le prime del genere crossover,un misto tra il rap ed il metal,è considerata uno spartiacque nella storia del rock che sa abbracciare(con risultati a volte controversi)ritmi della cultura hip-hop.
