Personalmente reputo "Interstate love song" la miglior canzone degli Stone Temple Pilots e una delle massime espressioni del rock degli interi anni'90.
Scritta dal leader Scott Weiland e musicata dal bassista Robert DeLeo fa parte della tracking list dell'album "Purple" del 1994 ed il video che vede protagoniste le vicende di un moderno Pinocchio alternate ad immagini di ritratti on the road della band(col mitico boa di struzzo viola indossato dal cantante)è adatto a questa canzone colonna sonora ideale di un viaggio.
